My Background
After picking up a degree in Technical Journalism from Colorado State University I have worked in the TV, film and video production industry for 45 years, first as a TV news photographer then primarily as a freelance cameraman. My jobs and assignments have taken me to many countries around the world and allowed me to learn about various religions and cultures. These experiences along with my long time interest in the Urantia Book revelation prompted me to write this book.
My Philosophy
I truly do think it is time to update Christianity, although I also know how difficult a task that is. Religious institutions with centuries of history and traditions do not change easily or quickly. However, I think as more people around the world discover the amazing scope and depth of the 196 papers of the Urantia Book, things will start to shift. It's billed as an epochal revelation of truth for our planet and I think it lives up to that description. It stresses the original gospel of Jesus-the Fatherhood of God and the brother and sisterhood of mankind -and is meant to apply to everyone, not just a select few. This simple yet powerful message has the potential to promote lasting peace and cooperation throughout the world.
My Wish
I wish that a growing multitude of not only Christians but people of all walks of life and religious traditions would read Part IV of the Urantia Book: The Life and Teachings of Jesus to see if it rings true for them.
